Terms of Service

These terms apply to your use of MsgWeaver (the "service"), operated by MsgWeaver ("we", "us"). By creating an account or connecting an Instagram account, you agree to them. If you use MsgWeaver for a business, you agree on its behalf.

The service

MsgWeaver lets you set up automations for your Instagram professional account: replying to comments, sending direct messages to people who interact with you, collecting email addresses they choose to share, and sending them emails. MsgWeaver works with Instagram through Meta's official API and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Meta.

The service is currently in beta. Features may change, and we may limit or pause access while we improve it. During the beta the service is free; we will tell you before any paid plan applies to you.

Your account

• You must be at least 18, and able to agree to these terms.
• Keep your login secure. You are responsible for activity in your workspace.
• You may only connect Instagram accounts you own or are authorised to manage.

Your responsibilities

• Follow the platform rules. Use MsgWeaver in line with Instagram's Terms of Use, Community Guidelines and Platform Terms. MsgWeaver enforces Instagram's messaging limits, and you must not try to work around them.
• Email consent. Only email people who gave you their address and agreed to hear from you. Don't import bought, rented or scraped lists. Honour unsubscribes. MsgWeaver adds an unsubscribe link to every email and never re-subscribes people who opted out.
• Lawful content. You are responsible for the replies, messages and emails your automations send. Don't use MsgWeaver for spam, deception, harassment, illegal products, or content that infringes others' rights.
• Your contacts' data. For the contacts you collect, you decide how their data is used, and you are responsible for having a lawful basis and a privacy notice of your own where the law requires it. We process that data on your behalf as described in our Privacy Policy.

Your data

You own your content and your contact list, and you can export your contacts at any time. You give us permission to store and process them only to run the service for you. When you disconnect an Instagram account, its access token is deleted; you can delete contacts at any time.

AI features

Some features use AI models hosted in Microsoft Azure to classify comments or draft automations. AI output can be wrong: review drafts before they go live. Your content is not used to train AI models.

Suspension and ending

You can stop using MsgWeaver and disconnect your accounts at any time. We may suspend or end access if you break these terms, if Instagram or Meta requires it, or to protect the service or other people. Where reasonable, we will tell you first.

Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided "as is", especially while in beta. Instagram, Meta and email providers can change or interrupt their services, which may affect MsgWeaver. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or lost data, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (which during the free beta is zero). Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Changes

We may update these terms. If a change is significant, we will let you know before it applies. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the updated terms.
